It is the longest tour we operate from Agadir and is designed for travelers who do not want to choose between Morocco’s major landscapes but want to see all of them in one private booking. The first four days follow the same desert route as our shorter Agadir departures—the Anti-Atlas, Aït Benhaddou, the Todra Gorge, and a night camping in the Erg Chebbi dunes—before the pace slows down considerably for extended time in Marrakech and a dedicated stop on the Atlantic coast in Essaouira.
The extra days on our full Morocco itinerary desert coast city are for more unstructured time in Marrakech and a longer stay in Essaouira rather than rushing back and forth between cities. Plus, there’s a full transfer day built in on each side rather than combining driving with sightseeing.

Day-by-Day Itinerary: 10 Days Tour From Agadir to Marrakech via Essaouira & Merzouga
On the first day of your 10 day Morocco tour from Agadir, your driver will pick you up from your hotel or riad anywhere in Agadir. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
The road that heads east goes through the Valley of Roses and the folded rock formations of the Dades Valley, and then it enters the Todra Gorge, which is a limestone canyon that is 300 meters high. Following the arrival in Merzouga in the late afternoon, there will be a camel journey of around 45–90 minutes into the Erg Chebbi dunes to see the sunset, followed by a Berber meal, live music, and a night spent watching the stars.
Sunrise across the dunes, followed by a camel ride back to Merzouga, and then a halt at Rissani, which was historically an important crossing point for caravans traveling across the Sahara. The journey then swings west again, following the Dades/Ouarzazate line and including a break for the night on the way to the High Atlas.
