  • Route direction:
One-way—starts in Agadir, ends in Marrakech, ideal if your flight home departs from Marrakech.
  • Price:
$449 per person—varies by group size, season, and camp category. Contact us for a live quote.

This is the one-way version of our Agadir departures: same Anti-Atlas crossing, same night in the Erg Chebbi dunes, but instead of circling back to the coast, the fourth day takes you over the High Atlas to Marrakech. It’s the logical decision if your journey is heading north, whether that’s a few more days in the Marrakech medina or a flight home from Marrakech-Menara Airport, as it converts a “backtrack” day into forward movement.

As with all our Agadir departures, this is a private tour Agadir Marrakech via Merzouga—your own air-conditioned vehicle and driver-guide, not a shared minibus on someone else’s schedule.

Day-by-Day Itinerary: 4 Days Tour From Agadir to Marrakech via Merzouga

Day 1
Agadir → Taroudant → Aït Benhaddou → Ouarzazate

Anywhere in Agadir, including your hotel or riad, we will pick you up. Through Taroudant, Morocco’s “Little Marrakech,” the path ascends into the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Subsequently, it continues towards Aït Benhaddou, a fortified ksar of red mud-brick houses that has served as a backdrop for countless major film and television projects. Ouarzazate, the country’s film industry center, is the first overnight stop, just a short distance away.

Overnight: Hotel in Ouarzazate  ·  Meals: Breakfast & dinner included
Day 2
Ouarzazate → Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga (Desert Camp)

Before coming to a halt at the Todra Gorge, which is a limestone canyon that is 300 meters high, the road that goes east travels through the Valley of Roses and the Dades Valley, which is known for its folded rock formations. After traveling through Tinghir and Erfoud, you arrive at Merzouga in the late afternoon. Once you arrive, you exchange your car for a camel and begin your journey into the Erg Chebbi dunes, which takes around 45–90 minutes. The camp in the desert is excited for the sunset, a Berber meal that was prepared at home, live music, and a night spent sleeping beneath the stars.

Overnight: Desert camp, Erg Chebbi ·  Meals: Breakfast & dinner included  ·  Includes: Camel trek
Day 3
Sunrise Over Erg Chebbi → Rissani → Toward Ouarzazate

On The third day of your one-way desert tour Morocco, There is a ride back to Merzouga by camel or four-wheel drive, followed by an early dawn crossing of the sand dunes, and then breakfast is served at the camp. Before going on to the west, it is recommended to make a stop at Rissani, which was formerly a significant station on the trans-Saharan caravan trade route. This will give a more tranquil and historically significant contrast to the arid landscape. On the way back, the route turns around and travels down the corridor that goes via Dades and Ouarzazate. Down the way to the High Atlas, there is a stop for the night.

Meals: Breakfast & dinner included
Day 4
Tizi n’Tichka Pass → Marrakech

As you make your way down into Marrakech, you will be treated to breathtaking views of the valley as you traverse the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, which is the highest mountain route in Morocco during the whole year. If your flight departs on the same day, you will be dropped off to your hotel or riad in the medina, or you will be dropped off immediately at the Marrakech-Menara Airport.

Meals: Breakfast included ·  Drop-off: Marrakech (riad, hotel or airport)

Good to know: An alternative overnight stop, an enhanced luxury desert camp, or an additional day in the Dades Valley are all additional options that can be requested in addition to this itinerary, which is a set template that can be altered as necessary.

It is important to pack clothes regardless of the season..

Fitness Level

This trek is compatible with the majority of fitness levels. Frequently Asked Questions For 4 days tour from Agadir to Marrakech

Does this tour end in Marrakech or return to Agadir?
A stop is made in Marrakech. This tour is a one-way itinerary, which means that on day 4, you will be dropped off at your riad, hotel, or the Marrakech-Menara Airport rather than driving back to Agadir. If, on the other hand, you require a return trip to Agadir, you may consider our three-day trip from Agadir to Merzouga.
Is this a private tour or a shared group tour?
This tour is not a shared minibus with other tourists; rather, it is a private tour in which you have your own vehicle and driver-guide. Instead of adhering to a predetermined timetable for the group, you will be able to pick your own speed, as well as the timing of your pauses.
How difficult is the Tizi n’Tichka Pass crossing?
Because the route itself is well-maintained and is driven on a regular basis by expert guides, it does not provide a significant physical challenge for passengers. The most important factor to take into mind is the curving mountain roads, which might induce motion sickness in those who are prone to experiencing it. Sometimes, during the winter, snow might make the crossing more difficult.
Can I add extra nights or stop elsewhere along the way?
The 4 days tour from Agadir to Marrakech itinerary that is presented above is the standard template for the trip, but additional nights in the Dades Valley, an upgraded desert camp, or additional stops can be arranged on request prior to booking the trip.
Do I need camel-riding experience for the Merzouga desert camp?
That experience is not required. The camel trek into Erg Chebbi is a guided and timed experience that is suitable for novices. Travelers of any age or fitness level are able to feel comfortable participating in this trip.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes, you are able to cancel this tour without incurring any fees as long as you do so at least twenty-four hours before the scheduled departure time. If you’d like to reschedule your dates, please get in touch with us directly.
