Day 1 : Arrival & pick up service to your accommodation
On the first day of our 6 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, we will pick you up from the airport and head to your accommodation. However, if you arrive in Marrakech early, we could take you to discover some beautiful places, such as Jamaa El-Fna Square. As this latter gets more beautiful at night, we could take you there and spend the evening. The night will be spent at your accommodation.

Day 2 : Visiting Marrakech attractions
Marrakech, also known as the “city that doesn’t sleep” or “the light of Morocco,” is one of the most popular travel destinations in the nation. The city provides its tourists with a variety of breathtaking locations. We therefore made the decision to dedicate an entire day, even if it is insufficient, to exploring the city’s primary attractions. Since Marrakech is Morocco’s fourth-largest city, a local guide is essential for seeing the sights. The greatest local guides in the city are provided by Over Morocco Tours so that visitors can thoroughly explore the major landmarks and attractions.
Having said that, the second day of the six-day travel from Marrakech to Merzouga will be spent exploring the city of Marrakech. We are going to take you to Bahia Palace shortly. This castle from the 19th century is renowned for its elaborate Moroccan architecture and lovely gardens. We’ll travel to a lot of other locations after that. Lastly, you will visit the stunning Square of Jamaa el-Fna in the evening.

Day 3 : From Marrakech to Boumalne Dades
In the morning, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech and drive towards the High Atlas Mountains. We will cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass which is the highest pass in Morocco with a height of 2260m. We will have stops for photos and to visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Then, we will continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa” due to its film studios. After lunch, we will drive to the Skoura Oasis, known for its beautiful kasbahs and palm groves. From Skoura, we will continue to the Dades Gorges where we will spend the night in a traditional Hoel/Riad with a view of the Valley.

Day 4 : Boumalne Dades to Merzouga desert
Today, after breakfast, we continue our journey of 6 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga itinerary. First, we will have a small drive to Todgha Gorges known as Todgha Canyons. Here, we can hike and walk along the river to explore these cliffs before continuing to Erfoud, famous for its fossils and marble.
We’ll then enter the desert and enjoy a camel trek to reach the Erg Chebbi dunes, where we’ll spend the night in a traditional Berber camp. You’ll have the opportunity to watch the sunset over the dunes. Once, the sun does down you will continue your way through the desert to the camp. Later on, you will enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars while listening to Berber music.

Day 5 : Erg Chebbi 4WD tour
Erg Chebbi desert trip is the highlight of our 6 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, A one-day trip with a comfortable 4WD to discover the interesting attractions of Merzouga. We will start either from the Hotel or the Camp in Merzouga, why this day is so special because we are going to discover the desert surroundings, firstly we will see the Sahara museum, owned by Qatar man. Moreover, it is famed for old cars. secondly, we will visit a Berber village which is called “Khamlia” it is a small village at the edge of the desert where most of its people immigrated from the south and middle of Africa like “chad” and” Nigeria” you are going to taste their mint tea and enjoy their traditional music which called “Gnaoua”.
After you get to know the story we are going to a beautiful place near the Algeria borders, where we will travel to the 19 century to see two villages of French people while the French occupation.
thirdly your driver will pick you up again to discover the nomad’s life. you will see so many tents which are considered their home town, furthermore, you will see how the transportation and their simple way to make fresh food also their handcrafts stuff. to sum it up you will cross the dunes of the Merzouga desert back to your hotel where you will relax and spend your night.

Day 6: From Ourzazate to Marrakech
The last day of our 6 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, will start after having breakfast at your Hotel. We have to depart early in the morning about 8:00 am because we will be returning to Marrakech.
We will take a different route, traveling to Alnif, and stopping at Nkob for lunch. In addition, we will drive directly to Marrakech through the Ait Saouen pass. Finally, drop you off in Marrakech, where our 6 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert comes to an end.

Amazing trip to the desert
We did a 6-day trip to Merzouga to enjoy a camel tour with an amazing driver. All were good, we did many stops to see oasis canyons and other things. I recommend this tour. You will enjoy it a lot and can book quads to drive through the desert.
