OverView For 10 Day Morocco Tour From Marrakech
- What it is:A private, round-trip 10-day/9-night tour from Marrakech combining a deep-Sahara desert circuit (Zagora, a remote M’Hamid excursion, and Merzouga), the Atlas Mountains, and an overnight stay on the Essaouira coast.
- Highlights:Three desert-camp nights across two regions plus a deep-desert 4×4 excursion, Aït Benhaddou, the Ourika Valley, and a full overnight in Essaouira.
- Group type:Private vehicle with a dedicated driver-guide throughout — not a shared group tour.
- How it compares:It builds on ours, replacing the rushed same-day Essaouira drive with a real overnight and adding a deep-desert excursion and mountain day the shorter tour doesn’t have time for.
- Price:
$1150 per person — varies by group size, season and accommodation category. Contact us for a live quote.
This tour, which lasts for ten days, has the potential to go longer than our shorter departures from Marrakech in every direction. It can make its way deeper into the Sahara, higher into the Atlas Mountains, and slowly down the coast. Rather than simply extending the desert circuit, the additional days are allocated to three distinct additions: a genuine deep-desert excursion near M’Hamid, which is skipped by the majority of standard tours; a full day in the Ourika Valley of the Atlas Mountains; and sufficient time in Essaouira to actually stay the night rather than rushing back to Marrakech the same evening.
It is designed for tourists who have already visited Morocco on a shorter trip and are interested in continuing their exploration of the nation, or who just have more time on their hands and would like not to condense the country into a week’s time.

Practical Information About Morocco 10 Day Itinerary
Best Time to Go For A 10 Days Morocco Itinerary
Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) bring the most comfortable temperatures to deserts, mountains, and coasts alike. In summer (June-August) desert daytime temperatures can top 40°C, particularly on the exposed M’Hamid excursion, but the Ourika Valley and Essaouira are distinctly cooler. In winter, the Tizi n’Tichka Pass can have snow, and the desert camps can be very cold at night.
Fitness Level
The three camel treks are easy and suitable for all fitness levels, with no previous experience required. The M’Hamid 4×4 excursion is several hours of off-road driving, which can be bumpy—good to know if you’re prone to motion sickness, but not physically demanding.
