Your 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga will start at 8:30 a.m. from your accommodation in Marrakech on the first day. We travel through the spectacular scenery of the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2260 m) to reach the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a famous Berber fortress that has featured in many Hollywood movies.

We will then head to Ouarzazate to visit the Taourirt Kasbah, one of the best-preserved kasbahs in Morocco, and it was once a palace for the Glaoui tribe. We then continue through the Valley of Roses to the Dades Gorge for an overnight stay in a comfortable Riad.

The second day of your 4 days desert tour from Marrakech is one to remember. We will get you from your hotel in Boumalne Dades. After breakfast we continue our drive towards the Sahara Desert through the Todra Gorges, where we may trek and explore before continuing to Erfoud, noted for its fossils and marble. Then we will enter the desert and have a camel journey to reach the Erg Chebbi dunes, where we will spend the night in a typical Berber tent.

You will get the chance to view the sunset over the dunes and to eat dinner under the stars, a traditional meal with Berber music.

We suggest rising early the next morning to witness the sunrise, followed by breakfast! Upon completing your breakfast, we may go on our 4×4 jeep excursion, where we will proceed to the nomadic families to see their lifestyle and modes of transportation! In the arid region, we will observe how they employ their livestock! We shall go to advance the boundaries of Algeria, where we will observe a settlement inhabited by French colonizers! The Maskara mines and the antiquated French industries await us!

As we return to the hamlet, we will encounter a scenic overlook that offers a glimpse of Erg Chabbi from the summit of the dunes! Subsequently, the conventional settlement of individuals who have moved from African nations! We will experience their traditional music and dine at a restaurant!

We will furthermore see the Qatari museum and proceed to the community gathering location, where you will spend the night in Merzouga.

You will have to get up early to witness the dunes become gold as the sun rises, and then you will have breakfast at your hotel before departing for the north.
